Further to the continued success and growth of the company, Andrews Automation Ltd is pleased to announce that both Nathan Clarkson and Kieran Blackburn have joined the company on Engineering Apprenticeships.
Nathan and Kieran will undertake a 3 year Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacturing through a course run by Hull College Group and begin their course in September 2016. The course will involve learning about many aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering, developing practical skills as well as learning how to carry out tasks in a safe and logical manner. Upon completion of the course, they will have gained a PEO Level 3 in Engineering and Manufacturing and look to kick on with their Engineering careers with Andrews Automation Ltd for many years to come.
Both of our new starters come fresh from the local Snaith School and have both done really well in their recently taken GCSE’s. They come to us equipped with a keenness to learn and a genuine interest in engineering. As part of our introduction programme, both Nathan and Kieran have also been charged with coming up with a robot design for the BBC series Robot Wars so will potentially have the opportunity to get their 15 minutes of fame!
